Allen Huang, DMD, MS., co-founders of the Significance Dental Specialists, moved to Las Vegas in 1992 with a degree in Bio-Chemical Engineering from University of California at Los Angeles. Dr. Huang worked one year as a periodontal assistant before applying for dental school and received his DMD degree from University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Following his general dental training, Dr. Huang received a full 3-year scholarship to trained Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at University of Illinois at Chicago. During his training, Dr. Huang received many academic honors, and was named as the first Chief-Resident in program history. In addition to his specialty training, Dr. Huang also obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in oral biology from the University of Illinois where he conducted clinical and histological research in bone regeneration in furcation defects in baboons. Dr. Huang was also involved in clinical and histological study of platelet rich plasma (PRP) in sinus lift bone regeneration project.

Victoria Chen, DDS, MS, co-founders of the Significance Dental Specialists, moved to Las Vegas in the summer of 2004 after completion of her Orthodontic program from University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Chen received numerous scholarships and prestigious awards and graduated as the Valedictorian from her dental class at National Yang-Ming University, Taipei, Taiwan. Following her dental training, Dr. Chen worked one year as a full time researcher and published numerous papers before deciding to apply for higher education in the field of Orthodontics. Dr. Chen received a full 3-year scholarship to trained Orthodontics at University of Illinois at Chicago. During her training, Dr. Chen received many academic honors which include receiving a patent “Thermal Active Ni-Ti-Canine Retraction Springs. In addition to her specialty training, Dr. Chen also obtained a DDS degree from Loma Linda School of Dentistry with Clinic Excellence Award, and Master of Science (MS) degree in oral biology from the University of Illinois where she conducted clinical research in A New Application of Thermal Active Ni-Ti-Canine Retraction Springs. Dr. Chen is a Diplomate of the American Association of Orthodontics and member of the Academy of Dental Association and Nevada Dental Society.
